I like this. I'd love to see a Becoming Canny version of it.

Of course! I'll be working on it definitely :]
Classic cartoon gags never get old, and getting them right is all about timing, pacing, and conveying expression.
In my sincere opinion, you did great on all three! Quick, short, sweet, but most importantly, it's very easy to tell what expressions and emotional states your character is making. I rewatched the animation with the sound muted, just to see if it'd work even without the added voices, and quite honestly, it does work.
If I had to go digging for a nitpick, it's perhaps that a -little- too much time is spent on frustration and on gloating, but since this animation is self-contained and not part of a larger work or episode, I'm giving it a pass; you want to show off what you can do, and for lack of better words: you got it!
Hope we'll see more from you soon, you've got something good going on here.
thanks! I really appreciate the feedback and thoughts. I can't wait to upload my next project
Hey, it's me again. The music you used this time, again in order:
Jincheng Zhang - Blow I Love You
Jingle Punks - Skull Fire
Jingle Punks music (including Skull Fire) is part of the Youtube Audio Library for content creators and is, at least on Youtube, free to use.
I'm not sure about Jincheng Zhang's works, however. In all of his official videos, he requests that you contact him by email to purchase his music, so I suspect that isn't copyright free.
And as always, lovely speed drawing, I instantly give these a good score when I see them. Keep it up but be careful with the music you use!
Thank you so much again for letting me know what music I used, and thank you for the information. I didn't know about the part with Jincheng's music, and come to think of it, I forgot how I acquired that specific music to begin with. I'll be more careful in the future. Again, thank you for your help.
The music you used in this is as follows (in order):
I'll Remember You by Jeremy Blake
Distinguée Lituanie by Les Gones
Hope that helped!
Holy canole! Thank you so much! That helps a ton.
This is the first episode of this show that I'm seeing, and as objectively as I can make it, it's two guys talking about various subjects and hot button issues and offering an humoristic outlook on said issues. And that's as much as I can say before entering the realm of opinion.
I'll make an attempt to review this based on the production quality and not merely the subject matter (or my opinions on said subject matter), as it wouldn't be fair for me to make my review score entirely based on that.
The aesthetic does nothing for me. I'm not sure what the chosen image of 2 animated babies in a dilapidated apartment, talking about hot button issues is supposed to convey, but it's definitely... unique, if nothing else.
On the plus side, the animation can be entirely ignored, and you could treat it as a radio show or a podcast while doing something else in the background.
The subject being tackled in this particular episode is rather sensitive and heavily politically charged, especially considering the current presidency and events in Virginia (as of the time of posting), but then again... Talking about gun control will NEVER not be controversial in some way or another. This is always a subject that will piss someone off or evoke strong reactions (of either support or rejection, for that matter).
I have to rate this 2.5 stars. There wasn't much that I liked or found to my tastes, but it's by no means poorly made or a typical low-effort blam-bait post. It's gonna piss people off (and I suspect it's the point), but it definitely deserves to be here and thus doesn't deserve a zero. We need all kinds, like they say.
We'll be putting it out as an audio podcast starting in January if you're into the content but not the cartoon side. Either way, thank you for checking it out!
Buddy, that was fun.
That was very funny and entertaining. I have to say I was laughing so much I had to tone myself down... just so I could listen and laugh some more. Great job, and great humor as well.
You have no idea how happy I feel whenever someone says that.
It's awesome to make people actually laugh at something.
It's that bad.
Being french, I find this flash not only bad, but simply offensive. Sorry to say so, but this is just crap to me. Horrible accent, horrible stereotypes, really low standards... Seriously? "Le news français"? Geez. I lack words to describe how much this animation is bad.
I'm glad you liked it! If you want to see more check out my other submissions! Thanks for the review xD
Hmm...
What an original idea... Let's hope you don't get too low of a mark. It would be bad to have to show your teachers the Obituaries page.
Thank you for your feedback and high score
