Great job!

Wow. I have to say this is really beyond all of my expectations. It's standing up on its own, yet I can recognize the original melody. A truly well-done piece of music here! I really like it, and for this you will get my 5 and my 10. Great job!

Simply awesome

I am SO. DOWNLOADING. THIS. Excellent use of the ingame sounds in the beginning!

Incredibly awesome.

This song is very soothing. It hit me right in the soul, it has just the right, medium-paced beat needed. It's not too fast and aggressive and it's not slow and mellow. This song just flows like a river, melodies go smooth and perfect, there is virtually nothing wrong with this song, aside from one thing: i'm unable to find any flaws in it!

Thanks to this song, I have achieved a relative state of trance. Just close your eyes, make sure no ambient noises will disturb you, turn the lights off, and listen, with a headset, volume high enough just so you can fully appreciate it. Trust me on that one: it's going to take you on a voyage. A real trip. This, my Newgrounds fellows, this is professional sound, this is a real piece of trance music. This is one of the best I've heard.

Wildekeizer, I think you should try your luck and become a professional if you're not one already.

And you Newgrounders, keep the 5's coming!

WildeKeizer responds:

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words. These reviews help me keep a positive attitude when I make more songs.

I could be considered a professional, but I do not make any money off of my work. I prefer to share it the way I please for now.

Listen to the full version on my soundcloud page if you want to get into a better state of trance. :)

Thank you so much once again.

A close second to perfection.

Arguably one of the best tetris remixes out there, be it on Newgrounds, if not on the entire Internet. There is not much I can say, your previous iteration of Ultimate Tetris was, well.. well-bearing its name. Can't improve what's excellent? Well I guess you can. Nothing is perfect in this world... But this song is a close second, that is for sure. You have done... *puts on sunglasses* ...an ultimate job. (Insert YEAHHHHHHH here)

Nakisima responds:

Thank you sir, you are too kind :) I endeavour to delight, and I am glad to have done so!

Misleading and bad.

It's not because the name sounds cooler it's a good idea to use it. It's misleading. Plus... your remix itself isn't particularly stellar. As the one below me said so, it sounds too generic and too echo-ey. It's short, unoriginal... Anyone can do that really. Sorry to say so but that's not worth more than a 0.

Chaotic.

That sounds way off. Too chaotic, instruments just don't go together... It's as if each instrument was trying to fight to be louder than the other. That ruins most of the song and makes it very hard to enjoy at all. There's some effort done, but if you would please choose better instrumentation...

Sawfest!

Lots of gold/platinum saws, eh? What a sawfest. For once I don't hear a mess from those instruments! It sounds like a rave party rendition of this themesong - which is perhaps what you were aiming. Good thing I own a good pair of headphones, it's just a shame at times, the saws saturate so much you barely hear the drumline. It's not bad otherwise. Very catchy, I found myself headbanging at this!

16-bit Mega Man 9-like!

This is true. As CaptainPhail thought, it really feels like a song from a 16-bit rendition of Mega Man 9. It's not bad at all, wish you made more than just re-instrumenting the MIDI though, but the quality of this song alone makes up for it. Great job.

Would make it into a RCW game!

I must say that I am amazed to hear the quality of this piece of music. This is both a remix and a cover - it respects fully the original melody down to the original 8-bit sounding, but you add just the necessary - a GREAT beatline, accompanying leads and strings - to make it a remix as well.

In my honest opinion, if there is ever a Rockman Complete Works 9, this song would make it to be the stage theme, easily. Keep up the great work, and take my five, you oh so much deserve it. =)

A masterpiece.

I am. having. SHIVERS. While hearing this masterpiece.

Like HeavyHorse said, it's surprisingly underrated and not very common to see Megaman remixes going Japanese-sounding, if you except the occasionnal good Tenguman or Yamatoman remixes for obvious reasons. This is very well pulled, as it retains the technological feel overall felt in Megaman series (as, after all, it's a video game series revolving about robots), BUT adds a new, Japanese, almost honorific and distinguished dimension, which transforms this remix into what is almost a song on its own.

If it wasn't a video game remix, I would have sworn it's out of the OST of a video game, for reasons quoted above. Truly a masterpiece. It goes 10, it gets a fifen, and it's going on my favorites list. Very well done once again, and thank you for making this mix!

Thanks for the review Kaosu. I'm glad you liked it. It could use a little bit of mastering work the more I listen to it, but maybe I'll get around to it sometime...
